Bela has had a severe nut allergy since she was a child. This meant that eating out locally, ordering-in or abroad wasn’t easy. Sometimes it was just easier to stay at home and cook to avoid the performance of explaining and worrying about whether it was safe.
The journey began
When she was 19, Bela took a trip to Japan,
and her love for food & passion for travel drove her to take on the ultimate challenge - enjoy the local cuisine without worrying. She did just that, thanks to a kind concierge who helped communicate her dietary needs to local restaurants.
We’ve started by creating handy pocket cards that list out dietaries to be used at your local cafe, food truck, upscale restaurant or translated for those trips abroad where you want to be able to eat out with more confidence.
That's when Please Tell The Kitchen was born!
Pocket cards are just the beginning.
We believe everyone has the right to a deliciously inclusive experience. We are so excited about what’s next. Our goal is to allow everyone to enjoy their meal without feeling left out or restricted.
